NOAA’s activities in Alaska and the Arctic provide scientific information for decision-making and support actions that foster healthy, productive, and resilient communities and ecosystems. Often, these activities are closely coordinated with entities both within and outside NOAA, which increases efficiency and effectiveness of these efforts.

Our partnerships span local, state, and international scales and both federal and non-federal partners. Project success requires meaningful engagement with local, Indigenous, and Tribal groups.
